UK Indie Lit Fest 2018

What an amazing day, the rain did not keep the sunshine from entering Kala Sangam  in Bradford where the 3rd annual UK Indie Lit Fest was hosted last weekend. There were so many talented writers chatting with a great number of Book Lovers and readers of all ages. There are tons of photographs to check out on all the social media pages but visit the lit fest website for some of the best ones. Click the logo to visit.

Book Lover, Superfan, WINNER.

Although the UK Indie Lit Fest is a FREE Book Event all those attending were asked to download a FREE ticket. This not only helped us with finding out the numbers who might have been attending, but the ticket also acted as a raffle ticket with the opportunity for one lucky attending book lover to win a signed book.

No one was more suprised than our superfan and blogger Rainne Atkins who was the winner of the draw. She was telling me last year she spent around £200 on books, so she has been saving for a whole year. The way she was buying books I bet she exceeded last years spend? Rainne is a wonderul person and always happy to help Indie Authors, Writers & Poets. Congratulations to her the prize could not go to a better person (Actually I think she used the prize to treat her granddaughter Shanice to a book by our Indie Author friend K.S. Marsden.

Click HERE to visit Rainne’s wonderful blog and see the phenomenal amout of books she reads and reviews.

Grab these novelettes now before the price increase

So disheartening at times for Indie Authors, costs are barely covered for books that are  self-published. Check out this blog by Maria Gibbs. Prices of her phenomenal novelettes are having to increase this weekend so grab copies before that then.

I have decided to increase the kindle price for all my novelettes this weekend from £0.99/$0.99 to £1.99/£$1.99 If you’ve been meaning to pick up a copy and haven’t done so yet then you have the chance to do so before the increase. The reason I have decided to do this is two-fold. One is […]
